Cheesy Jalapeno Bacon Bread
This quick & easy cheesy bread has all the flavors of a jalapeno popper!
I couldn’t wait to share this recipe. It’s so easy to put together and tastes just like a jalapeno popper. We contemplated doing a little cheddar and may end up doing that in the future. The bread is topped with a bacon garlic cream cheese and then mozzarella and jalapenos. We had ours on pizza night, but I think it would be a great side for grilled chicken!
What you need:
1 loaf French bread, sliced lengthwise
16 oz. cream cheese
1 Tbsp. minced garlic
1/2 cup chopped bacon
2 jalapenos, thinly sliced
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions:
In a medium bowl, microwave cream cheese in 30 second increments until softened enough to stir.
Add garlic and bacon and stir until well combined.
Spread over sliced bread.
Top with cheese and sliced jalapenos.
Place on a foil lined baking sheet.
Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 15 minutes.
Optional: Broil for a few minutes until brown and bubbly.
