Slow Cooker Mississippi Pork Chops

This buttery ranch pork chop recipe with lots of pepperoncini flavor is a fantastic meal!

My family’s favorite pot roast is Mississippi Pot Roast, so we continue to try variations of that so we can have those flavors more often. We have pork/pork chops maybe once or twice a month and this is definitely a recipe that will be in rotation on the months we don’t have the pot roast version. We served it with mashed potatoes and green beans - which are the chosen sides for the pot roast. This recipe is such a no-brainer win!

What You Need:

  • 4 to 5 bone-in center cut pork chops

  • 1 Tbsp. oil

  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix

  • 1 packet brown or pork gravy mix

  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper

  • 6 Tbsp. unsalted butter, cut into slivers

  • 10 to 12 pepperoncini peppers

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1/3 cup pepperoncini juice

Directions:

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet and brown pork chops on both sides (you don’t have to cook it through).

  2. Add pork chops to a slow cooker.

  3. Top with ranch and gravy mixes, pepper, butter, and pepperoncini peppers.

  4. Mix together water and pepperoncini juice and pour over the top of the pork chops.

  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 5 to 6 hours or HIGH for 3 to 4 hours.
