8 Layer Dip Pizza
Perfect for a Taco Tuesday, this pizza has 8 layers of goodness just like the appetizer!
It’s been so long since I’ve had 8 layer dip, but I knew this pizza would be a winner. I mean it’s basically a taco pizza and what’s not to love about tacos and pizza together?! Ours is missing black olives because the boys don’t eat them and I didn’t realize I was out, so technically, it’s a 7 layer dip pizza but I’m definitely not skipping out on those next time!
What You Need:
1 lb. ground beef
1 pkg. taco seasoning
1/4 cup water
1 Pillsbury refrigerated pizza crust
1 can (16 oz) refried beans
2 cups shredded Mexican cheese
2 cups shredded lettuce
2 roma tomatoes, diced
Sour cream
Guacamole
Sliced black olives
Directions:
In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook and crumble ground beef.
Once beef is cooked through, add taco seasoning and water. Cook on medium-low for an additional 1 to 2 minutes. Set aside.
Shape dough into a 12-inch pizza pan.
Bake crust in a preheated 400 degree oven for 5 minutes.
Spread refried beans onto parbaked crust.
Sprinkle taco meat on top and then add 1 cup shredded cheese and return to oven to bake for 6 to 8 more minutes.
Top with lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, sour cream, guacamole, and olives. Serve!
