8 Layer Dip Pizza

Perfect for a Taco Tuesday, this pizza has 8 layers of goodness just like the appetizer!

It’s been so long since I’ve had 8 layer dip, but I knew this pizza would be a winner. I mean it’s basically a taco pizza and what’s not to love about tacos and pizza together?! Ours is missing black olives because the boys don’t eat them and I didn’t realize I was out, so technically, it’s a 7 layer dip pizza but I’m definitely not skipping out on those next time!

What You Need:

  • 1 lb. ground beef

  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 1 Pillsbury refrigerated pizza crust

  • 1 can (16 oz) refried beans

  • 2 cups shredded Mexican cheese

  • 2 cups shredded lettuce

  • 2 roma tomatoes, diced

  • Sour cream

  • Guacamole

  • Sliced black olives

Directions:

  1. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook and crumble ground beef.

  2. Once beef is cooked through, add taco seasoning and water. Cook on medium-low for an additional 1 to 2 minutes. Set aside.

  3. Shape dough into a 12-inch pizza pan.

  4. Bake crust in a preheated 400 degree oven for 5 minutes.

  5. Spread refried beans onto parbaked crust.

  6. Sprinkle taco meat on top and then add 1 cup shredded cheese and return to oven to bake for 6 to 8 more minutes.

  7. Top with lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, sour cream, guacamole, and olives. Serve!
