30-Minute Dinner Rolls
The perfect, fluffy dinner roll ready in only 30 minutes!
I don’t make dinner rolls from scratch nearly enough. I remember eating them a ton when I was a kid. I think in my mind I just assume it’s going to take a few hours to make them, which I typically don’t have. This is the perfect recipe to have on hand because it’s a 30 minute dinner roll recipe. It’s really a good recipe for beginners too. They are fluffy and light but I love the buttery golden top a ton too.
What you need:
1 1/4 cups warm water
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 Tbsp. instant yeast
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp. salt
1 large egg
3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
Unsalted butter, melted (a few tablespoons)
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water and mix in sugar.
Then add oil, salt, egg, and flour until combined. Add a little bit of extra flour if the dough is too sticky.
Shape into 15 rolls and place in a greased 9x13-inch pan.
Cover loosely with a tea towel and let rise for about 15 to 20 minutes.
Bake rolls in a preheated 375 degree oven for about 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown on top.
Spread melted butter on top.
