The Very Best Salisbury Steak
Say goodbye to TV dinner salisbury steak and try The Very BEST Salisbury Steak instead!
While I am still not the biggest fan of salisbury steak, Nick and the kids love it, so I do make it every once in a blue moon for them. This is nostalgic of the tv dinner version, except that it tastes 8 million times better. I really don't mind making this for dinner because it's basically like a mini meatloaf with gravy.

What you need:
1 can Campbell's French onion soup
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs
1 egg
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper, to taste
1 tbsp. flour
1/4 cup ketchup
1 to 3 tsp. Worcestershire sauce, to taste (I put a like 3 tbsp. LOL)
1/2 tsp. mustard powder
1/4 cup water
Directions:
In a bowl, combine 1/3 cup French onion soup with ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, salt, and pepper.
Shape mixture into 6 patties.
In a large skillet, brown patties on each side over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat.
In a small bowl, whisk together flour and remaining soup. Whisk in ketchup, water, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard powder.
Pour mixture over patties in the skillet. Reduce heat to medium low.
Cover and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
