Sicilian Style Sheet Pan Pizza
This thick crust pizza is loaded with toppings - pepperoni, bacon, sausage, and lots of veggies and cheese!
As much as I love a traditional round pizza, I have been so lucky to stumble across so many great sheet pan pizza recipes. Sicilian style tends to be thicker crust like a foccacia and is topped with tomato, onion, anchovies, herbs - sometimes it has strong cheeses or no cheese. So this pizza is not 100% a Sicilian pizza but it is in the style of a Sicilian pizza. The crust is magnificent and it is loaded with all the toppings. I couldn’t ask for a better pizza!
