Monkey Bread
This cinnamon sugar treat is the absolute best and takes 4 ingredients to make!
A very popular and widespread recipe, but I'm still gonna share it :] Who knows...you, yes, YOU, may not have ever heard of it and now you have this magical recipe at your fingertips!! My friend Jaime gave it to me and it was her mom who gave it to her - so all credit goes to the lovely Deb for this one :]
What you need:
1 cup granulated sugar
Ground cinnamon
1/2 cup unsalted butter
3 pkg. (7.5 oz each) refrigerated biscuits
Directions:
Pour sugar into a small saucepan. You’ll coat biscuits first and then cook what’s left afterwards.
Add cinnamon to the sugar (as much or as little as you want)
Cut biscuits into fourths.
Roll biscuit pieces into cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Arrange in a greased bundt pan or monkey bread pan.
Add butter to the leftover mixture of cinnamon-sugar and gradually heat to a rolling boil, stirring constantly.
Boil and stir for one minute. Then pour over the biscuits.
Bake in a preheated 350 oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown.
Let cool slightly. Then flip onto a plate.
