Buffalo Chicken Pizza

All the best flavors of buffalo wings with ranch and blue cheese all in pizza form!

This is a rarity recipe on the blog that contains blue cheese. I’m still on the fence with if I like it or not. I love Wingstop’s blue cheese dip but sometimes I am not sure if it actually has blue cheese in it. So at this point, blue cheese is okay if it isn’t heavy handed because it is such a strong flavor. This recipe also uses ranch as a sauce which is a big no for both of my sons and my husband. However, my daughter and I loved it. It definitely is going to be a special occasion food when it’s just us two, but it’s great to have a recipe like that :)

What You Need:

  • 1 recipe of pizza dough

  • 1 lb. chicken breasts, cooked and cubed

  • 1/3 cup buffalo sauce

  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese

  • 2 diced scallions

Directions:

  1. Roll the pizza dough to 14 inches and place on a baking sheet or pizza stone.

  2. Bake in a preheated for 425 degrees for 10 minutes.

  3. Meanwhile, toss chicken with buffalo sauce.

  4. Once crust has parbaked, top with ranch dressing and chicken with the sauce.

  5. Top with mozzarella cheese and blue cheese.

  6. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese has melted and is bubbly.

  7. Served topped with diced scallions.
