Banana Pudding Dip
A sweet treat appetizer for any banana pudding fan!
This recipe was something I made a few years ago for NYE because one of my brothers-in-law loves banana pudding. It looked like a fairly easy recipe to throw together and I usually like to have at least one sweet dip of some sort. It was super creamy and rich. I think you could definitely dip fruit in it as well, but we just did vanilla wafers.
What You Need:
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup prepared instant vanilla pudding (about half a 3.4 oz box)
2 pkgs (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
7 oz. sweetened condensed milk (half a 14 oz can)
2 bananas
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 box vanilla wafers
Directions:
In a small bowl, beat the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, prepare vanilla pudding according to package instructions.
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth.
Slowly add the condensed milk and mix.
Fold 1 cup of the pudding into the cream cheese.
Then fold whipped cream into the mixture.
On a plate, mash bananas and drizzle with lemon juice to prevent browning.
Fold bananas into cream cheese mixture.
Chill for one hour.
Crush some of the vanilla wafers to sprinkle on top right before serving.
Serve with vanilla wafers to dip.
